| Wow...been almost a month since I got on here...and what a month its
been. School let out for me last Thursday, ending with my take
home exam/project for Computer Security. I'm gonna gloat now
cause I know it will not last throughout my grades, but so far I have
an A and a B for final grades...giving me a 3.4 GPA for the semester so
far. My Computer Security class however will bring me down, cause
I struggled in that class this semester. Hope you all have been
doing well, I know I have been. Tonight I am going to a hurricane
benefit but coming back early because my birthday is tomorrow. My
mom gets the day off so it is basically my day...but my spoiled self
has a day everyday. Last night I had just my second date of the
whole semester, and we had a blast. We went to Fridays, then saw
Walk the Line, amazing movie. It was incredibly long, but still a
worth while movie. We laughed and had a good time, it was
fun. Wow, school is finally over for a little bit and I have a
little break. This past semester has been the most exciting and
fun semester I have ever had hands down...and I can't wait to see what
the next one will bring. I love you all and I hope you guys have
a safe holiday season.

| So I just watched the Passion of the Christ for the first time ever
tonight. I could rant and rave on how much it effected me and how
I will pursue a change in my life...but I know that the emotion I feel
now will not last. It's crazy to think about a person's journey
through life...how it comes and goes, has its ups and downs, tears you
to peices sometimes and puts it back together later. I feel like
I have accomplished everything in the world this semester. My
grades have gone up from last semester...I haven't dated a girl this
semester which is a shocker. I am volunteering in communities and
affecting kids lives every Wednesay with some of my other fraternity
brothers. I have maintained leardership roles within the frat, as
well as attended almost every event that has gone on since
August. I am more involved on campus...list goes on. With
all of this being accomplished, I still feel like a huge peice of me is
missing. I am not going to say "lack of church involvement"
because even though that is true, that is not the answer...because all
that leads to is surrounding myself with people who are already
saved...which isn't my purpose in life. It is definetly a
confusing feeling...something I can not put my finger on.

| Really
don't know what to talk about. I could tell you that I have been
a upstanding model christian since I joined the fraternity...I would be
lying. I could tell you that God is molding me through this
immense about of fun and using me to reach others for Christ...but I
would be lying again. Last semester and this semester have
reversed roles in ways I can't even comprehend. I went from
knowing two to three people on my way to class to knowing a good third
of the students I see on my way to class. Last semester I was
around people who warned others about dating me, because I am not that
good with lasting relationships. This semester I am one of the
few guys who don't use and abuse girls...hence being recommended to a
lot of girls a good guy to date. Last semester I did not do one
service activity except spring break trip up to New York. This
semester I have already participated in three service activities
including a big brothers/big sisters event. Fraternity life is
addicting. Many say, "you are just paying for your
friends." Even though we do pay a fee, it is worth it. I'm
out guys...just please be praying for me. I am hanging in there,
bad choices here and there but I am still attempting to be a man after
God's own heart. It is a tough road...

| 14 days later...ok maybe I'll keep this xanga thing up. Don't
want to bore you with all the things I have done because litterally,
every night has been crazy. How amazing is Haloween? I know
that its supposed to be the "devil's night" and we are goin to hell if
we celebrate it...but hey...I like dressin up...it thrills my
soul. Last night our fraternity had a reverse pajama jam.
The guys dressed up in girls nightwear, and vice versa. Girls
were pretty modest, but the guys...haha...ill just leave it up to the
imagination. The night before we did a service project with WEBN
in the Run Like Hell event. It is basically a marathon that
raises money for cystic fibrosis. We worked the gate, the
water...different stuff that they needed volunteers for. That
night we dressed up in 80's clothing...so it was fun. The night
before that (Thursday) we had a party get cancelled that was supposed
to be held at Jillians...but we ended up going to a buddies house with
our costumes. I was a big hot sauce bottle...I have
pictures. Other than that school is going ok. I can't
believe there is only 5 weeks left of school...its pretty crazy.
Went to church this morning, it was good to see some Highland Hills
guys again. Lets see, still single, still havin fun, still being
jolly. Love y'all

| Wow...once again don't know where to begin. Don't know how much
longer I will keep up loggin on this xanga thing just because I don't
update that often...oh well. Right now I am playing my mom's new
computer. We finally got rid of the old home computer that took
10 minutes to boot. Let's see...took a trip up to Michigan for
fall break to see my friend Jen. We went with a group to Cedar
Point and just had a blast, love theme parks. Saturday we went to
the Michigan/Penn St. game...and if you saw the highlights or watched
the game, you wish you were there too. As an avid Ohio St. fan, I
had to refrain from cheering for either side, but I must admit I was
happy to see Penn St. lose and Michigan win just for the simple fact
that Ohio St. can maybe move up more in ranks because of it.
Today I went to my first Penecostal service, which was
interesting. No hanging from the chandeliers but it was a good
time of worship. I just got back about an hour ago and have no
idea what I am doing tonight, cause honestly I am dead tired.
Fraternity wise things are going awesome. We
finished Greek Week last week in which all fraternities and sororities
competed against each other in different events. Monday night was
bowling, Tuesday night was air bands, Wednesday night you just had to
have most of your chapter show up. Our fraternity won the bowling
contest, the brotherhood award, and Greek God in Nathan Hagler (our
president). The PKE won overall Greek Week, our rival frat but
its ok. Tuesday night was really exciting because our A team
played the PKE A team in flag football. The PKE's had been
undefeated before they played us. At halftime they were up 12 -
0, missing both of their extra point tries. Our team rallied in
the second half and won 13 - 12. We rushed the field, it was an
awesome feeling. I was also voted in as Chaplain of the Pledge
class...so I am third in command and I have to plan brotherhoods and be
the "spiritual leader", whatever the heck that means. That is
pretty much it...go team
